Testimonial:
"Friends of Ponteland Park thank you so much for a most interesting, informative and enjoyable afternoon yesterday at Ponteland Party in the Park. We were delighted that so many people were able to enjoy your amazing display of creatures great and small! I imagine that you must have been extremely tired after such an unstinting afternoon with so many people and questions! It was great the way all and sundry could handle so many strange (to us) creatures and their reactions were a joy to watch. The appeal seemed to be equal to old and young alike. I hope you were delighted with the attendance and enthusiastic response by the people of Ponteland - I am sure bugsnstuff will be happily remembered by all, but especially by Friends of Ponteland Park. Many thanks again and best wishes to you both!"

Alongside our usual array of weird and wonderful animals in our public event displays, The Creepy Crawly Cage is a fantastic addition for your visitor experience.
Dare you enter? The Cage consists of a purpose-built netted insect enclosure where visitors are challenged to enter and take a seat inside, surrounded on all sides by a variety of insects for a truly unique close encounter with our bugs. Visitors are sometimes aloud to touch and hold some of the insects!
Insects used inside the Cage are harmless, presenting an opportunity for people to conquer any fears they may have about insects in a very safe and controlled manner. This fun addition to your event improves visitor awareness about insects and once they 'Brave the Cage' they find out there's nothing really to be frightened of when it comes to our six-legged friends!
'I'm NOT a celebrity, GET ME IN THERE!" Once inside the Cage, visitors are offered a free photo opportunity* letting the world know that they survived the Creepy Crawly Cage and as with all of our workshops, talks and displays, we always aim to be Educational, Informative and Great Fun!
